selection “14 tracks contemplating the Raga”
This time on 14 tracks:
“14 tracks of Drone Pop”
Drone music makes use of repetition and imperceptible change often embodied by a low, continuous hum designed to mesmerise and submerge. This selection, however, celebrates those dronesmiths who see the form as a means to an end rather than an end in itself, utilising the blurry repetition in the back of the mix as a point of contrast for more approachable, colloquial arrangements at the front. These are pieces of music built on a stylistic polarity, bridging between the sustained persistence of a single sound, and the subtle arrangement surrounding it. The result may not be Pop music in any traditional sense, but those of you who thrive on the suggestion of melody and form will understand exactly why we've tagged these tracks Drone Pop...

“Unusual and interesting selection”
Beautiful mixture of stuff here, and kinda bizarre (and cool) to hear any of it described as "pop". Especially nice to see Burning Star Core included!

“Dear Boomkat,”
I love you. This selection of music is the best mixtape you ever "gave" to me. You are the bestest music curators ever.
With much love,
9er.

Etherically washed grungy undertones of beauty and restraint...great music to accompany the passage between death and wherever is next!
The most useful (and beatless) tunes I have purchased in years...thanks for the research!

I've sat and listened to nearly every track sample posted here. This has got to be one of the best music shop compilations I have come across. Every track is consistently and blissful in its own right. I would love to see this in lossless! Any hesitation I feel in purchasing this compilation this second is due to the fact that it is not offered in a lossless format. These tracks are deep and meditative and deserve to be experienced in 'intended' quality. Thank you nonetheless for your efforts here! I learned some new names.

I also wish to make mention of the actual presentation of '14 tracks'. This is a beautiful website that is both pleasing to the eye and easily navigable. Great job!
