This time on 14tracks:

“14 tracks of heartache and longing”

With Valentine's day looming we thought we'd reconnect with our sentimental side and deliver something for the romantics among you. We ended up with a playlist that's arguably more suitable for the forlorn and dejected - but nonetheless figured it worked with the theme. These 14 tracks include some of our favourite bittersweet numbers as performed by the likes of Cortney Tidwell, The Angels of Light and Thurston Moore favourite Patty Waters, and whilst you might argue that some of the lyrics don't quite speak of the heartache and longing of the title, between them they capture the melancholy and euphoria of the first shoots and dying embers of love.
