This time on 14tracks:

“The Best Of 2009 Part 2”

Continuing our look at some of the tracks we've enjoyed most this year, this second selection includes music from newcomers as well as more familiar faces. The selection takes us from the reduced percussive functionality of SND through to the squashed synthfunk of Dorian Concept , the deep technofied machinations of Shed, Kassem Mosse, and Andy Stott, and the haunted echoes of Black To Comm and Concern. Watch out for part 3 next week...

Take part! Leave a comment!

What do you think of this selection?
Any suggestions?
All comments are warmly welcomed.

“best of 14 tracks?”

Just a quick question for anyone from 14 tracks/boomkat (or anyone who knows). Have these tracks all appeared on 14 tracks before? I think they have, and since I've been checking your selections out pretty religiously through the year I haven't been bothering to filter through the best of again. But tell me if I'm wrong - I don't want to miss out on anything! Cheers..

No, don't think any of these tracks have been on any previous selections here.

i think kassem mosse b1 is meant to be played at 45 rpm...but then of course you can play it at whatever speed you want.
